Rapper NBA YoungBoy pleads guilty in fraud case

American rapper NBA YoungBoy pleaded guilty to drug fraud charges.

NBA YoungBoy admitted to two counts of third-degree identity fraud, two counts of third-degree forgery, and six counts of misdemeanor drug-related conduct during his appearance in court in Logan, Utah, on Monday.

The rapper initially faced 46 state charges.

YoungBoy, who is currently serving 27 months in prison on federal charges, entered a no contest plea to 36 additional charges.

His plea agreement reduced his felony charges to Class A misdemeanors.

Following the plea agreement, Judge Spencer Walsh suspended the prison sentence and imposed a $25,000 fine.

“I am confident that, in the future, once he serves his sentence in federal prison, he will be able to achieve true success on probation and a bright future where he can reach his full potential in all aspects of his life.”

YoungBoy also faces an unsolved federal weapons case in Louisiana.
