The U.S. Central Command on Monday revealed the Houthi-controlled locations that were targeted by airstrikes following a presidential order.
Lt. Gen. Alexus G. Grynkewich, director of operations for the Air Force Joint Chiefs of Staff, provided the details in a briefing with Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell.
Grynkewich said that under the direction of President Donald Trump, CENTCOM conducted precise strikes to restore U.S. freedom of navigation and deterrence.

“The first wave of strikes hit more than 30 targets in multiple locations, weakening a variety of Houthi capabilities,” he said.
Grynkewich listed terrorist training sites, unmanned aerial vehicle facilities, weapons manufacturing facilities and weapons depots among the targets.
Others were command and control centers, including a terrorist compound housing several high-ranking Houthi drone experts.
The attack also targeted other Houthi headquarters and detection facilities previously used to threaten shipping.
Grynkewich added that the operation will continue in the coming days “until we achieve the president’s objectives.”
Regarding the Houthi claim that they opened fire on the USS Harry S. Truman after the attacks, Grynkewich said: “It’s very difficult to know, given the level of incompetence they have demonstrated.”
