Popular singer, NBA YoungBoy released from prison

Popular American singer Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, better known as NBA YoungBoy, has been released from prison.

NBA YoungBoy, who is facing multiple trials, was released on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Jamaican-American podcaster and internet personality DJ Akademiks made the announcement on X.

Sharing the details, he wrote, “It appears NBA YOUNGBOY has been released from federal prison and will either be transferred to a halfway house or headed home.”

DAILY POSTING recalls that YoungBoy, who was initially serving 27 months in prison on federal charges, entered a no contest plea to 36 additional charges in 2024.

Following his plea agreement, Judge Spencer Walsh reduced the rapper’s felony charges to Class A misdemeanors and imposed a $25,000 fine.
