Ifedayo Olarinde, a media personality popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has said that miracles in Nigerian Pentecostal churches are choreographed.
He said he doesn’t believe in miracles in Nigerian churches, stressing that they are for imbeciles.
He argued that the miracles performed by Jesus in the Bible were verifiable, but no Nigerian cleric has been able to perform his miracles on a public figure.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Outside The Box podcast, Daddy Freeze said, “I’m sorry, but I don’t believe in any of the miracles of any Pentecostal church. I have no problem with the pastors, but I don’t believe in their miracles.
My IQ is 156. I must be pretty stupid to be able to believe in miracles in Nigerian churches. Christ came into the temple on Saturday, and there was a man with a withered hand, and Christ healed him. Christ raised Lazarus.
He also raised the Pharisee’s daughter. He healed blind Bartimaeus. Everyone knew blind Bartimaeus. The woman with the issue of blood… there were some very important people that we all know Christ healed.
“But today in Nigeria, there is no one… Dora Akunyili was dying of cancer; all the Nigerian government officials were praying for her, but they couldn’t cure her.
Mr. Ibu’s condition was so bad that they had to amputate him, and no one could treat him. Then he died, and no one could revive him.
“Don’t tell me you’ve performed miracles. I want proof.”
