Actress Bukola Arugba finally speaks on why she left her ex, Damola Olatunji

Popular Nollywood actress, Bukola Awoyemi, professionally known as Bukola Arugba, has finally spoken openly about her breakup with her ex, actor Damola Olatunji.

Daily Post recalls that Bukola Arugba split from the actor in May 2023. Although the reasons for their separation were not detailed, rumors suggested that infidelity allegations against Olatunji may have contributed to the split.

However, expressing frustration over lingering questions about her past relationship with Olatunji, Arugba revealed that she left him because their relationship had become untenable, despite his efforts to make it thrive.

In a recent Q&A with fans on her YouTube channel, she revealed that they broke up “because things weren’t working out,” despite her best efforts to salvage the situation.

She said: “My ex is still living his life and we don’t fight. We co-parent very well. There’s more to it than meets the eye. He’s the father of my twins.

“We broke up because it wasn’t working out. I did everything I could. I can only speak for myself: I tried to make it work, but it wasn’t working out. Please, I say this to all my fans: I beg you in the name of God to leave things as they are.

“We’re both fine. I wouldn’t want what happened between us in your previous relationship with me to affect your new one. Please leave things as they are.”
